RICON®-system Reinforcing plate
The reinforcement plates complement the assemblies made with RICON connectors; they significantly enhance the load-bearing capacity of glass (up to 700 kg) on wooden transoms of curtain wall systems.
Advantages of the reinforcement plates:
- Reduction of the eccentricity of the main load relative to the center of gravity of the connector.
- Increase in load-bearing capacity.
- Decrease in the risk of torsion on the transom.
Our reinforcement plates are compatible with the wooden-aluminum curtain wall profile systems of the following brands: Schüco, Stabalux, Raico, Gutmann, RP-Technik, or Batimet.

The reinforcement plates are screwed onto the posts and wooden transoms through the base profiles of the aluminum systems. They are tailored to the base profiles used. The supply of reinforcement plates for profiles of other brands than those mentioned above (e.g., MBJ, Stabalux, BUG, Unilux, Batimet) is possible upon request.
