1. Grant of Use

The software program is provided free of charge for use until revoked at any time. Use of the program is permitted exclusively for the user’s own business purposes and only in connection with projects or customers using KNAPP products. We reserve the right to amend or modify the program at any time; however, we are under no obligation to further develop or improve the program. You agree not to copy, modify, or distribute the program to third parties.

2. Purpose and Responsibility

The program serves solely as a working aid and therefore provides only a basis for calculations, particularly for structural components. It cannot under any circumstances replace the structural verification of the calculated results by a qualified professional. You therefore undertake, when using the program, either to have the calculated results verified by a qualified structural engineer or other authorized professional, and/or to inform any third parties to whom the calculation results are provided that no structural verification has been carried out.

3. Revocation of Use

We are entitled to revoke the right to use the program at any time without stating reasons. In the event of such revocation, you undertake to immediately cease using the program and to destroy both the program itself and any copies made thereof. You must also provide a binding declaration confirming that no further use will occur.

4. Disclaimer of Liability

Any warranty claims and claims for damages arising from the use of the program are excluded. We shall not be liable for any damages resulting from use of the program, program errors, or consequential damages (e.g., software errors, loss of use).

5. User Responsibility

The user is obliged to verify all results generated by the program for plausibility and suitability before using them for any specific application. Responsibility for planning, design, dimensioning, and compliance with legal and technical requirements remains solely with the user.

6. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

This agreement shall be governed exclusively by Austrian law, excluding conflict-of-law provisions under private international law. The place of jurisdiction shall be the competent court in 3300 Amstetten, Austria.
