The KNAPP wood connectors RICON S VS 60 and 80 for mass timber have received approval for the North American market. The ICC-ES approval issued by the ICC (International Code Council) attests that the connectors for main and secondary beams comply with the construction regulations. The International Building Code  (IBC) 2021, 2018, 2015, 2012, and 2009 and the International Residential Code (IRC) 2021, 2018, 2015, 2012, and 2009 are all met.
