How the RICON connector supports glass facade of the TUM Munich-Garching college refectory

The – invisible – skeleton is made of plain reinforced concrete, but the new refectory of Garching aim to showcase sensuality and joie de vivre: it combines elegantly load bearing construction elements made of wood and stainless steel with large areas made of glass.
Hence, the huge, fixed glass panes with 2x5m were assembled by Rossmanith with around 1,900 RICON® Headers and Beams connectors.
