Cookies

Our website uses „cookies“. These are small text files that are stored on your end device with the help of the browser. They cause no damage.

We use cookies to make the design of our website more user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. They allow us to recognise your browser the next time you visit.

If you do not wish this to happen you can adjust your browser such that you are informed about the setting of cookies and can permit this only on a case-by-case basis

Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of our website.

Server log files

We use the services of the webspace provider Host Europe GmbH, Hansestrasse 111, D-51149 Köln.

Web fonts

This website uses so-called web fonts provided by Google in order to display a uniform appearance of text. When this site is called up, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache in order to display text and fonts correctly. If your browser does not support web fonts, your computer will use a standard font.

You can find further information on Google Web Fonts at https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq und in der Datenschutzerklärung von Google: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/

Embedded YouTube videos

This website uses the YouTube embedding function to display and play videos from the provider „YouTube“. The site operator is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA.

The enhanced data protection mode is used with the embedding as the user information is only saved once the respective video has started to play, according to the providers information. If the playing of the embedded YouTube video is started, the provider sets „YouTube“ cookies in order to collect information about the user behaviour. According to information from „YouTube“, these serve to collect video statistics to improve the user-friendliness and to prevent improper activities amongst other things.

If you are logged into your YouTube account, you enable YouTube to assign your browsing behaviour directly to your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.

For more information on data protection at „YouTube“, please refer to the data protection declaration of the provider at: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. („Google“). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, text files that are saved on your computer and that facilitate the analysis of the use of the website by you. The information on your use of this Website generated by the relevant cookie is generally transmitted to a Google server in the US and saved there. However, in the event of the IP anonymising being activated on this website, your IP address will be shortened by Google beforehand within the member states of the European Union or in other countries which are contracting parties to the agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. Google will use this information to evaluate your site usage, create reports regarding website activity, and complete additional services associated with your internet use for the website operator.

The IP addresses transferred by your browser as part of Google Analytics are not associated with other data from Google.

You can prohibit the storage of cookies by changing the settings in your browser software accordingly; we would, however, like to inform you that in this case you will not be able to use the full extent of all functions on our website. You can also prohibit the collection of the data created by cookies and related to your use of the website (incl. your IP address) by Google and Google’s processing of this data by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

This website uses Google Analytics with the extension „_anonymizeIp()“.

This shortens IP addresses for further processing thus ensuring that there can be no direct reference to an individual. Insofar as the personal data collected about you relates to you as an individual, this will also be immediately precluded and the personal data thus immediately deleted.

We use Google Analytics to analyse the use of our website and to be able to carry out regular improvements. We can use the statistics yielded by this to improve our website and make the design more interesting for you as a user. In exceptional cases, where the personal data is transferred to the USA, Google implements the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework. The legal basis for the use of Google Analytics is Art. 6, Sect. 1 lit. f of the GDPR.

Content of the newsletter

We send newsletters, emails and other electronic notifications with advertising information (hereafter referred to as „newsletters“) only with the consent of the recipient or a legal entitlement. Insofar as this content is reworded within the course of registering for a newsletter then this will be the controlling text for the user’s consent.

Double-opt-in and logging

The registration for our newsletter takes place with a so-called double-opt-in process. This means that after registering you will receive an email in which you will be requested to confirm your registration. This confirmation is necessary in order to ensure that no one can register with an email address other than their own.

The registrations for the newsletter are logged in order to be able to verify that the registration process is compliant with the legal regulations. This includes the recording of the time of the registration and the time of the confirmation as well as the IP address. Changes to your data saved with the newsletter service will likewise be logged.

Rapidmail

We use rapidmail to send our newsletter. Your data will therefore be transmitted to rapidmail GmbH. In doing so, rapidmail GmbH is forbidden from using your personal data for purposes other than sending the newsletter. Rapidmail GmbH is not permitted to pass on or sell your data. Rapidmail is a German, certified newsletter software provider, which was carefully selected in accordance with the requirements of the GDPR and the federal data protection act.

You can revoke your consent to save the data and its use to send the newsletter at any time, e.g. via the „Deregister“ link in the newsletter.

Termination/revocation

You can terminate or revoke your subscription to the newsletter and thus the consent to have your data saved at any time, effective for the future. You can find details for this in the confirmation email as well as in each individual newsletter.

In order to guarantee the security of this website, we use the plugin Wordfence from Defiant, Inc. This sets cookies in your browser and collects and saves your IP address. You can find further information on this in the Wordfence data protection declaration.

Your rights

You have the right to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability and revocation, as a matter of principle. Contact us if you would like to exercise these rights.

If you believe that the processing of your data infringes the data protection laws or infringes your data protection rights in any way, you also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority. In Austria this is the data protection authority.
