The new work and research center in Diemerstein, built in partnership with Knapp
The work and research center was constructed by architecture students from the Technical University of Rhineland-Palatinate in Kaiserslautern-Landau (RPTU) under the supervision of the t-lab research department, in close collaboration with the industry. They have integrated innovative solutions in line with the principles of circular economy for wood construction, such as conical adapters made of pressed resin wood and invisible Knapp steel connectors, which are easy to assemble and disassemble and have been used for fixing wooden insulated wall elements.
