A mobile event lounge made its debut in the famous Austrian ski resort of Kitzbühel. The building consists of prefabricated wooden wall panels and deck tiles, and it can be assembled and disassembled anytime with the RICON® S.

Anyone sitting on the mobile grandstand has the winner in plain view, whether it is a car rally or the Hahnenkamm ski race in Kitzbühel, Austria. And here, the multi-purpose wooden building was inaugurated as a Mastercard event lounge and allowed sports-loving VIP guests to experience the downhill and Super G as closely as rarely before. „To ensure everything runs smoothly, we chose the Knapp connectors: MEGANT® and RICON® S for the load-bearing structure, RICON® and WALCO® V for the façade elements,“ said Mario Ilsanker, a technician at Lienbacher Holzbauwerk, also in charge of the building’s assembly and disassembly.
All connectors were fixed to the wooden elements in prefabrication and are kept in place even after dismantling, thus guaranteeing a fast assembly and dismantling time.

Each element weighs a maximum of 800 kg, thus ensuring its transport by helicopter and assembly in Kitzbühel, next to a ski slope, only accessible by a rough forest path.
